Santa Theremals El Salvador

If you are able to visit El Salvador and would like an "Off The Beaten Path" experience
Theremals Teresa is amazing. Located in the Apaneca Mountains.
Its about an hour drive from El Salvador
You take the scenic route through Rute De Las Flores. Taking this route you will ride through a few little towns.
When you arrive you instantly realize you are in for a treat. It's absolutely one of the most unique places I've visited. You are able to submerse yourself in tropical tress, exotic flowers, volcanic hot springs and gorgeous gardens just waiting to be explored.  You will be able to take a dip in healing thermal pool. There are warm and hot pools to enjoy. Bring a book and sit back and enjoy your day with a light lunch and a cerveza.
Here are a few pictures from our day trip to the thermal spa.
Trip Tip: Bring Towels, Sunscreen and Cash ( They take USD)

After our thermal baths we ventured off to a little town to have a late lunch. I ordered one of my favorite dishes in San Salvador.  A Classic Salvadoran dish is called a Pupusa. They are masa cakes with a filling and then fried. Traditional fillings are meat, cheese or beans.

Beef Kabobs
Seafood Ceviche- I was at first concerned about the pink color of the ceviche. It actually was good.

Here are some pictures of our time in the little town. Before heading back to our hotel.
